Governance,Policies and Procedures

  • Develop, test and maintain disciplineprocesses and procedures in line with Wood policies andrequirements including codes and legislation, providing guidance onregulatory and legislative issues related to theirdiscipline
  • Manage discipline manuals and otherintellectual property owned by thediscipline
  • Develop and maintain the relevantdiscipline software tools in line with Wood policies andprocedures
  • Support Project Delivery Assuranceas required – including a system of reviews and assuranceactivities on projects
  • Highlight shortcomingsin discipline processes, systems and procedures and implementappropriate improvements using established change managementpractices

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • ISCED Level 6 / Bachelors (minimum)or Level 7 / Masters (preferred) degree in relevant engineeringdiscipline or equivalent professionalexperience
  • Chartership with relevantprofessional body / Professional Engineer License or equivalent isan advantage.

Knowledge, Skills AndExperience

  • Extensive broad and deep experienceof engineering delivery in one or more relevant industrysectors
  • Expert level experience andunderstanding of discipline engineering tools andprocesses
  • Broad understanding of the businessdrivers for relevant industry sectorclients
  • Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills
  • Able to anticipate andbalance the needs of multiple stakeholders
  • Ableto attract top talent to meet current and future businessneeds
  • Experienced in developing talent usingcoaching, mentoring and formal performance processes
