JobOverview:

The Material LogisticsCoordinator works within established Material Logistics procedureswith a moderate degree of supervision. The Material LogisticsCoordinator has developed knowledge and skills through formalmaterial management and logitics coordination training and workexperience. The role requires an attention to detail and an abilityto clearly communicate with multiple teams to achieve the goal ofgetting material from one country to another and onto a marinevessel in a timely and safemanner.



KeyTasks and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains master log forP&E (Plant & Equipment) Scaffolding HVE (High ValueTest Equipment) and Consumables as per project requirements
  • Raises Purchase Requisitions (PR) according toproject requirements using company software (SPMAT ORACLE)
  • Raises Service Requisition (SR) according toproject requirements using company software (ORACLE) through a SWO(Service Work Order) for utilities and HER (Hire Equipments onRental) for equipment
  • Maintains a log ofcalibration certification hire equipment AMR (Additional MaterialRequest) and FTM (Field Transfer Material)
  • Check all containers loose material andequipments prior to mobilizing to offshore with Project Supervisorand complete MAN (Material Acceptance Note) which has to be signedand recorded
  • Ensure reconciliation of allmaterials and equipment after project completion
  • Completes RTS process (Return To Store) forconstruction consumables and project material after projectcompletion.
  • Provides effective communicationacross all related McDermott departments as below:
    • Coordinates with Supply Chain Management toconfirm ordered materials and construction consumables are received(including medicine and stationery)
    • Coordinates with Rental department to confirmhired equipment is available on requested dates
    • Coordinates with Logistic department totransfer material by road by air or by sea. Follow up with logisticrequirements./. documentation required to send materials (SWO COOCDE/CIPL Inbound documents etc.)
  • While stationed Offshoreonboard construction vessel:
    • Ensures validcertificates are available for all equipment.
    • Maintains inventory log at offshore sitelocation
    • Ensure stock levels are maintained tosuit project and AMR to be raised accordingly for difference
    • Cargo manifests are required to be neat andhave correct clear description and quantities of items
    • Ensure Field Transfer Material (FTM) is raisedmaterial post onshore / offshore campaign
    • Establishes good communication with offshorelead and basemanagement

EssentialQualifications and Education:

  • High school diploma orequivalent
  • Familiarity with computer softwareand MS Office
  • Good understanding of theEnglish language
  • Effective communicationskills both verbal and written
  • Compliance withMcDermott safety and ethics standards
  • Basicunderstanding of HSE/quality principles and their application
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability
