About the Role: Paralegal
Your Day-to-Day Will Involve:
The Paralegal will support the Legal Department reporting to the Deputy General Counsel in Dubai and dotted line reporting to the Commercial Contracts Manager in England.
- Assist with corporate secretarial tasks, including maintaining company records, preparing board and shareholder resolutions, and supporting regulatory filings
- Support governance matters, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and legal requirements across different jurisdictions
- Ensuring the provision of timely and effective legal and corporate secretarial support to the business
- Conduct legal research on corporate, commercial, and compliance matters as required
- Assist in due diligence processes for corporate transactions and contractual engagements.
- Acquire knowledge of the commercial business units and customer and supplier commercial contracting processes.
- Support the commercial team with their requests e.g. Order Form, contract process guidance, template production and updates.
- Draft, review and assist with customer and supplier agreements
- Manage and maintain legal documentation and databases to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Coordinate with external counsel and regulatory bodies as needed and build relationships with local authorities (DSO, DIFC)
Qualifications We're Looking For:
- LLB Law Degree
- 5+ years as Paralegal and/or Company Secretary role at a global group
- Familiarity with corporate governance requirements and commercial contract management
- Attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
- Knowledge with CLM/CRM tools
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously, whilst also collaborating effectively within a team and fostering relationships across departments.
