KeyResponsibilities:
  • Installirrigation and other hydraulic controllers including radios, solarpanels, antennas, antenna masts, valve solenoids, pump relays,critter guards
  • Install(trench when necessary) conduit and run wire to interconnectdevices
  • Troubleshootcomponents and processes, and if needed, replace the defectivehardware and test functionality before leaving asite
  • Calibratesensors and ensure water meters, switches, and other devices arereporting accuratevalues
  • Testvalves, pumps, and other outputs for properfunctionality
  • Provideremote and on-site support, in rare cases, respond to emergencysupport calls onSaturday
  • Traincustomers on the system once it isautomates
  • Recruit,train, and guide automationtechnicians
  • Managework schedules andtimecards
  • Providetroubleshooting
  • Traincustomers on the use of automation software and automation systems,including manual overrides, simple troubleshooting,
  • Workclosely with the Operations Manager on equipment needs, priorities,ongoing projects, and real timeissues

Requirements
Education:
  • HighSchool Diploma/GED(required)
  • AssociatesDegree(preferred)

  • Installationexperience - irrigation and other hydrauliccontrollers
  • Managementexperience - leading a team for highperformance
  • Abilityto work outdoorsyear-round
