The dental hygienist will be accountable and responsible for demonstrating ethical behavior, competent clinical skills and knowledge, professionalism, evidence-based therapy, oral health promotion and oral health disease prevention.
- Graduate of a recognized school of dentistry or dental hygiene (min two year program).

Holds (and maintains) a current license of good standing in country of origin.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Dental Hygienist.
- Previous experience in a [tertiary/ secondary/ multi-specialty outpatient/ day care/ ambulatory care/ etc ] environment preferred.
- Successful completion of requirements for license by Dubai Health Authority.
- Administer local anesthesia
- Care of implants and treatment of peri-implant tissue
- Maintain full, accurate and contemporaneous patient records and document patient record appropriately and as per standards of the organization.
- Perform Oral Cancer Screening
- Capture diagnostic images
- Promotes a clean and safe work environment based on DHA, JCI and OSHA requirements
- Enroll patients into recall appointment
- Complete periodontal examination and charting to screen and monitor periodontal disease.
- Formulate an evidenced-based dental hygiene diagnosis related to and congruent with the diagnosis of the dentist.
- Provide dietary counseling and nutritional education relevant to oral health.
- Use appropriate anti-microbial therapy to manage plaque related disease
- Provide preventive oral care to patients and liaise with dentists over the treatment of caries, periodontal disease and tooth wear
- Carry out community based oral health promotion activities
