JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DataSecurity and Compliance Specialist to join our team. The idealcandidate will be responsible for safeguarding the companys datamonitoring the usage of client data and implementing necessarysecurity measures to protect sensitive information. Additionallythe candidate will ensure compliance with quality control standardsand regulatory requirements as well as implement copyrightprotections to safeguard our soft data assets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement data security policiesprocedures and protocols to protect the companys dataassets.
- Monitor the usage of client data andenforce security restrictions to prevent unauthorized access ordata breaches.
- Conduct regular audits andassessments to ensure compliance with quality control standards andregulatory requirements.
- Collaborate withinternal teams to identify potential security vulnerabilities anddevelop mitigation strategies.
- Implementcopyright protections and other measures to safeguard soft dataassets from unauthorized use or distribution.
- Provide CRM system administration support especiallyrelated to user permissions and workflows along with data analysisto provide insights into operation and productivity.
- Stay uptodate on industry best practices emerging threatsand regulatory changes related to data security andcompliance.
- Provide training and support toemployees on data security protocols and best practices.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree in computer scienceinformation technology or related field.
- Proven experience in data security compliance or relatedfield.
- Strong understanding of data protectionlaws regulations and industry standards.
- Experience implementing and managing data securitytechnologies such as encryption access controls and intrusiondetection systems.
- Excellent analytical andproblemsolving skills.
- Strong communicationand interpersonal skills.
- Relevantcertifications (e.g. Certified Information Systems SecurityProfessional (CISSP) Certified Information Security Manager (CISM))preferred.
