Development and management ofschedule

  • Creates andimplements work plan for discipline and inter-disciplineinterfaces; identifies key dates, milestones and deliverables,drives for completion; managesforecasts
  • Resolves escalated delays andchanges, ensures recovery plans are implemented andreviewed
  • Creates work share plan.

Design Verification

  • Drives and participates in DesignVerification; drives others to complete; Understands risk andmitigation requirements

Change Management

  • Uses knowledge of conditions ofcontract to support decisions on schedules, key milestones andchange management
  • Understands customer needsand able to deliver customer satisfaction; actively monitors andsupports initiative
  • Quantifies effects ofchange project wide; develops mitigation plans against change anddrives change management

People Management

  • Supervises work of technicalprofessionals in the delivery of engineering deliverables includingchecking work
  • Coordinates and manages inputsfrom large interdisciplinary team (typically50+).
  • Provides communication to project team;good at public speaking; strong in leading people to participateand contribute.

  • Bachelor's degree inEngineering

Knowledge, Skills AndExperience

  • Minimum 15 years’ relevantexperience
  • Deep understanding of technical workscopes and commercial aspects of projects
  • Ableto use conditions of contract to support decisions on schedules,key milestones and change management
  • Has goodworking and application knowledge of specifications andstandards
  • Extensive experience in delivering tointernal customers, including other Engineeringdisciplines
  • Familiar with change managementpractices and able to robustly managechange
  • Has an expert knowledge of standards,procedures and work practices; follows project execution flowchart; developing skills in project and technicalexecution
  • Expert ability in application of theprocedures and work practices which define and govern EngineeringManagement and Project Engineeringdeliverables
  • Able to lead Project Engineeringteam; able to manage between Engineering DisciplineGroups
  • Good communicator in leading workeffort; motivates team; strong positive and active in solutions andproactive attitude
  • Competent at managingtechnical matters and interfaces with ThirdParties
  • Able to manage and enhance performanceand build effective teams
