The Role
- The Business Development Manager is responsible for the sales function of and recruitment of participants for the graduate and executive education programs of the CBE. - S/He is the driving force behind generating new leads and contacts, for pitching programs and services to new clients and prospective participants, and for maintaining good working relationships with existing and prospective clients. Key Duties and Responsibilities - Sales and customer relations - Target, educate and persuade new customers; - Customer relations and retain management; - Liaise with HR and Talent Development managers in companies and organisations; - Maintain a knowledge repository of clients, referrals, prospects and presentations; - Maintain a client relationship management database and utilize it to manage customer contacts; - Communication and marketing - Develop business and marketing plans; - Research market for identifying new (program) opportunities; - Plan and prepare presentations; - Participate in forums, client discussions, conferences, etc. - Communicate new program development to prospective clients; - Provide focused management feedback; - Assist in branding and media communication (press releases, advertisement, web site, etc.)

Requirements
Minimum Qualification - Minimum bachelor degree; master degree is a plus Preferred Qualification - Acquaintance with the HE environment in the UAE; affinity with graduate and executive education Expected Skills/Rank/Experience - Good communication skills - Ability to communicate effectively with corporate clients, students and faculty; - Ability to effectively present information both orally and in written form; - Excellent writing skills in English; - Strong sales skills - Engaging and deep understanding of customer\'s needs; - Ability to engage faculty in the sales process; - Provides high quality customer service orientation; - Operational management skills - Ability to plan, organize, implement and coordinate operational activities; - Ability to analyse and evaluate marketing and sales data and statistics to formulate actions for improvement; - Attitude - Pro-active and results-oriented; - Provides high quality customer service orientation; - Professional appearance and demeanour, and excellent attendance. - Strong ability to work independently and as a team member;
