As a Senior Procurement Engineer, you will be responsible for sourcing goods, materials, and services to ensure that the company operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply in line with global procurement vision & strategy. You will take responsibility for a specific project or hold a larger remit in terms of purchasing responsibility, will have more technical knowledge, expertise, understanding and will be seen as a specialist within their function. There is some travel required primarily within the MEA region. Duties & Responsibilities Support global/regional tendering teams by being the interface with suppliers for RFQ, facilitate technical alignment, adherence to specifications, cost and delivery targets Balance both tactical executions with strategic initiatives necessary to drive cost reduction projects Maintain cost tracker at sub-component level and communicate on potential cost and lead-time impacts to bidding team Partner with Category Manager to achieve best possible value available from supply base to ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials to reduce risk or impact on business operations Monitor market trends, supplier strategies and new potential suppliers Review opportunities and negotiate to reduce costs using procurement best practice tools and methods Provide technical / commercial assistance to Purchasing teams to improve product knowledge Ensure that a consistent approach is used for all supplier relationships Ensure compliance to all company guidelines and purchasing policies and procedures Diversity & Inclusion We believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish. The Individual Bachelor\'s degree minimum experience of 4 to 6 years or Diploma (high school level) in Engineering with 5 to 8 years in Project Management, Procurement & Sourcing organization A working knowledge of Quality Management Systems, API standards along with the experience of qualifying and auditing suppliers is essential.
