Citizens School, an innovative and forward-thinking educational institution in the heart of Dubai, is looking for a dedicated Teaching and Learning Quality Assurance Leader. The successful candidate will play a critical role in constantly developing, improving, and ensuring the quality of teaching and learning at Citizens School, ensuring teaching practices align with our vision, values, and inquiry-based approach to learning, as well as the KHDA framework.

Core Responsibilities:

Act as a pedagogical coach for mentors, particularly those new to the profession or needing support to meet the Citizens Learning Framework standards.Provide one-on-one coaching, feedback, and strategies to improve teaching practice, assessment techniques, and classroom management.Develop and implement a comprehensive CPD framework to enhance the instructional skills of mentors at all levels.Oversee the quality of teaching and learning through regular lesson observations, providing actionable feedback based on best practice standards.Utilize learner performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improving teaching practices.Set up and lead the More Able, Gifted, and Talented (MAGT) curriculum offer to ensure learners are challenged and supported to reach their full potential.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.Extensive experience in educational leadership and quality assurance roles, with a proven track record in improving teaching and learning outcomes in secondary education.Minimum of five years of teaching experience, with a strong understanding of curriculum design, instructional practices, and assessment methodologies.Experience in developing and implementing quality assurance frameworks and processes within educational settings.Strong organisational, administrative, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusivity and high educational standards.
