    What are we looking for?

    We are looking for an experienced Assistant Head of Primary to join our team in August 2024

    Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead curriculum development and student progress with Heads of Subject and Year in the upper primary.
Lead the English departmentSupport safeguarding, behaviour, and student well-being initiatives.Coordinate assessments, and staff inductions, and manage day-to-day activities in the upper primary.Conduct holistic pupil progress meetings and ensure effective teaching strategies.Oversee staff development, promote best practices, and manage KS policies and reporting.


Position Requirements:

Education: 

Bachelor's degree in EnglishMaster’s degree, Teaching certification, NPQH or equivalent Educational leadership qualification.

Experience: 

Three years of school management/leadership in a similar setting.

Competencies & Skills: 

Knowledge of international accreditation, inspection and evaluation frameworksExperience in child protection, health and safetyExperience in developing, planning and delivering excellent provisionHighly effective relationship management with a variety of stakeholdersDisplay a high level of professional competence in all areas of responsibilityCollaborative team player and strategic thinkerAble to convert vision into actionFlexible and capable of managing growth and instilling high standards, adept in multilingual settings.
