As part of the expanding operations of our schools, especially in the Primary Section, we are seeking to expand our Leadership Team and are wanting to bring on board the following, leaders. These roles are on the succession plan with future Senior Leadership roles such as Vice Principal and Principal on the career ladder.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate with the Registrar and Department heads on the onboarding of new students and teachers on induction procedures, admission testing, policies and procedures etc.
- Calendar of activities and events of the academic year inclusive of but not limited to extra classes, activity programme, educational trips, assemblies, Sports day, annual day.
- Ensure that the curriculum caters to the needs of the pupils and is inclusive of the standards and content as required by CBSE, Kerala Board and KHDA.
- Regular training and development of all Supervisors, HODs and coordinators to ensure regular progression of the school curriculum and desired objectives.
- Build, implement and develop upon the school’s policies, procedures, and codes of conduct at all times.
- Consistent development and implementation of Teaching and Learning of Students across the entire section.
- Timely recruitment induction and planned development plan for new teachers.
- Ensure regular structured professional development programs are in place for new and existing academic and support staff of the section.
- To provide an inspiring and purposeful leadership for the staff and students, of the section and the overall school.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the section and the quality of teaching and learning consistently against the set benchmarks.
- Continue to maintain an environment that promotes and secures outstanding teaching, effective learning, high standards of achievement and good behavior.
- Head of Section, is to work towards shaping and implementing the educational strategy for the section.
- Monitor preparations and outcomes of Benchmark test.
- Liaise with the Registrar/MMT regarding new student needs, induction procedures, admission testing etc.
- Assist with Parent-Teacher meetings, NIMS initiatives, and other major school events.
- Manage and undertake teaching and other professional duties as reasonably delegated by the VP/Principal.
- Ensure the NIMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed at all times.

**Qualification and Experience for successful consideration for this role.**

Ø A minimum experience of 3 years as an Academic Head/ Primary Supervisor.

Ø A minimum of 7 years teaching experience which includes Primary section.

Ø Post-graduation degree will be preferred.

Ø Professional qualification of a B.Ed.

Ø Familiarity with DSIB and the latest trends in educational thinking and pedagogy.

Ø Excellent communication skills and proven track records of leadership qualities along with sound knowledge of co-scholastic areas.

Ø Supporting and strengthening school policies and practices.

Ø Staff development, curriculum transaction, assessment, health and safety, and parent engagement.

Ø An excellent team player both within the department and across phases.

Ø Excellent communication skills and proven track records of leadership qualities.

**Salary**: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
