Your daily role will entail garnering data from the Asset Managers, crunching the numbers and presenting to senior management.
Salary is AED 40k plus family insurance, family flights, and schooling allowance.
Responsibilities
Prepare insightful analytics for various investment portfolios, providing reports to the management to help decision making at a strategy level. Report on historical performance and future prospects of the portfolio to facilitate the due diligence and valuation process. Ensures that all technical aspects of work, including the development and/or assessment of financial models and valuations are done according to generally accepted best practice. Ensure portfolio data is accurate, timely, and complete to ensure strong quality and reporting capabilities. Active involvement with the Team in the investment strategies, the due diligence and valuation process in line with relevant legal measures and organizational policies and procedures. Propose future development, additional analytics and enhancements of the portfolio reporting systems and analytics. Build complex statistical & financial models and conduct financial analysis. Develop models to conduct attribution analysis and risk analysis. Monitor portfolio for compliance with investment guidelines. Create and track key KPIs across various investment types and compare performance against benchmark. Carry out organization-specific analysis providing summaries about the organization’s competitive environment, financial analysis, and product assessments. Contribute to and support the process of setting criteria and targets for investment portfolios to enable the identification of potential opportunities. Conduct research, as directed, through access to databases, the internet, and other sources of specialized knowledge to facilitate the decision-making process. Develop processes to improve growth and efficiency for the department & organization. Designing and creating entity reporting needs related to the nature of the respective investment entity. Develop and manage KPIs across the entity including each business unit and respective employees. Quarterly reporting to the Investment Committee on historical performance and future plan. Work closely with department head to construct the report on the portfolio performance and key events. Report quarterly portfolio level forecast to provide insights on future portfolio composition and returns to help decision making at a strategy level. Maintain oversight on all internal compliance and external regulatory needs, including all assets and subsidiary to the main parent company. Prepare management reports and presentations from time to time as requested by the Director, Strategy and Corporate Services. Perform any other relevant tasks as directed by the Director, Strategy and Corporate Services. Requirements
8 – 10 years of relevant experience in a data analysis & portfolio reporting role in a Private Equity / Fund environment Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration. MBA in Finance or Financial Certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, CAIA, CFP, FRM, FMVA) is preferred. Experience in an investment entity, understanding of the full cycle of an investment transaction. Experience in consulting for government entities in GCC would be advantageous. Good understanding of the UAE strategic achievements and directions. Ability to think outside the box, proposing solutions in collecting and presenting information in a structured manner. An expert user of PowerBI and other presentation software (Powerpoint, Excel)
