The Role
RAK Academy, Al Hamra is looking for a positive, driven and inspirational middle leader to join the school’s leadership team. The successful candidate will also have an opportunity to lead Upper Key Stage 2 and a core subject in alignment with the UAE School Inspection Framework.
Essential
Hold a bachelor’s degree and a post-graduate qualification in education. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Have a proven record of raising attainment and improving progress. Have an excellent understanding of teaching and learning. Be proficient in the development and adaptation of curriculum in a key subject. Have a proven track record of excellent classroom and pedagogical practice.Desirable
Ability to teach across multiple primary key stages. Ability to oversee and implement the analysis of student outcomes. Understand curriculum design and the concept of a developing an aspirational, cumulative curriculum. Take responsibility for leading the development and resourcing of the curriculum in collaboration with other Phase Leaders.The School Offers
