Richemont is looking for a Sourcing Manager (Procurement), based in Dubai, overlooking UAE and KSA markets.

 

You will report to the Regional Procurement Manager and support Richemont Functions, Maisons and Markets to optimize sourcing and supplier management for indirect categories such as Marketing (materials, events, advertising, communications), Corporate Services (travel, security, human resources), Retail (construction, store design, renovations), Logistics (transport & warehousing) and Facility management.

 

As Sourcing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic procurement initiatives, building sourcing strategies for local categories and supporting the development of key Richemont processes. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing Regional Procurement Function surrounded by a creative, resilient and inspiring ecosystem and team. You will support the development and sustainability of the procurement department across Middle East, Africa, Turkey and India, focusing primarily on the UAE and KSA markets.

 

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic leadership:

  • Collaborate with the Regional Procurement manager to develop impactful, trend-aligned sourcing strategies aiming to deliver value to your stakeholders from Maisons and Functions,
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the luxury retail industry and coverage of the 360 indirect categories with agility, excellence on fundamentals and championship of initiatives.
  • Business partnering with insightful Maisons and Functions teams within Richemont, acting as their main POC to manage end-to-end sourcing and procurement process aiming at delivering value across pillars such as efficiency, effectiveness, sustainability and compliance.
  • Facilitate change management with internal stakeholders and suppliers throughout the organisation.

Strategic sourcing:

  • Build-up and provide categories intelligence and expertise (industry knowledge, spend and supply chain mapping, risks, supplier base, market, responsible sourcing, benchmarks, templates and best practices).
  • Contribute to and implement the category strategies and roadmaps with Maisons, Markets and Functions.
  • Launch and oversee calls for tenders in partnerships with Maisons and Functions while crafting negotiation strategies, collaborating with legals on contracts as needed, creating assessment reports and communicating on return on investments and savings.
  • Build and maintain a local preferred suppliers network and lead the source-to-contract process.

Collaboration & communications:

  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders including several Maisons and Functions, as well as external partners and suppliers to forecast procurement needs, ensure timely delivery and compliance with policies.
  • Actively communicate insights and recommendations derived from sourcing data analytics to management for informed decision-making
  • Closely collaborate with the purchasing (P2P) team to ensure the fulfilment of purchases lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with HQ and global sourcing teams to continuously grow the local market, sharing best practices and animating the procurement community.

Supplier management and portfolio optimization:

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships embedded with sustainability guidelines.
  • Conduct regular suppliers performance evaluations, implement corrective action plans and grow the SRM locally.
  • Continuously improve suppliers sourcing, selection, evaluation, bidding, management and risk mitigation principles to ensure the establishment of a robust and high-quality sourcing department and suppliers pool that meets Richemont’s standards.
  • Implement data-driven assessments to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the supplier network at Richemont.

Sourcing compliance and monitoring:

  • Monitor and measure sourcing effectiveness against established performance metrics,
  • Develop business continuity plans by category and ensure healthy, ethical and sustainable partnerships with suppliers.
  • Contribute to the annual vendor due diligence review and build a sourcing roadmap reflecting corrective actions plans when needed.

 

YOUR PROFILE

You are an established and versatile procurement professional with 5+ years of experience in a structured environment, with strong sourcing skills, and ideally benefit from category knowledge of Marketing, Retail and Corporate Services.

 

You have excellent communication skills and are capable to engage, influence and work with diverse and demanding stakeholders in a challenging, uncertain, and fast-paced environment to build and drive collaborations, foster best practices, and deliver concrete results. You can navigate change management smoothly and build sustainable solutions for your stakeholders.

 

You are curious and capable to think outside the box to provide creative solutions.

You are autonomous, structured and have excellent analytical skills.

You have strong negotiation skills and are capable to engage with different kinds of suppliers or agencies at multiple levels.
