  • Manage multiple complex sourcingstrategies, scope requirements, business partnerships, and navigatecomplexity within a large global matrixedorganization.
  • Coordinate low to moderatelycomplex contract negotiations, involving Legal and other regulatorydepartments as necessary, and develop negotiation plans andstrategies when required.
  • Develop a sustainablepipeline of live and planned projects/initiatives by proactivelyengaging Business Partners who ultimately deliver services toVisa’s Clients (primarily financialinstitutions).
  • Ability to identify and executemultiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver superior results byfacilitating change management with cross functional colleagues andkey stakeholders throughout theorganization.
  • Create a shared vision byembedding and integrating the role of strategic sourcing intovarious parts of the business.
  • Supportcentrally-lead programs in the areas of Supplier PerformanceManagement, Risk Management, Compliance, Center of Excellence,Spend Analytics, and SupplierDiversity.
  • Perform market analysis to supportrecommendations to the LAC marketingteams.
  • Accountable for executing sourcingstrategies to deliver sustainable results within Marketingorganization.
  • Perform market, benchmark, andspend analysis for Marketing sub-categories, such as media,production, creative, agency management, CRM and Marketresearch.
  • Manage internal customers andstakeholders within the Visa Marketing LACgroup.
  • Lead or facilitate the supplierselection and negotiation process.
  • Establishand develop strategies to deliver efficiencies, perform savingstracking and report realized savings on a continuousbase.
  • Monitor supplier performance and managesupplier relationship for key suppliers across multiple marketswithin LAC. Delivers impact to sourcing value and brings insightsfor TCO.
  • Participates in, and may facilitate,the selection of local suppliers and contract negotiations ofmoderate to high complexity, coordinating with Legal and otherdepartments, as necessary.
  • Ability to managecomplex, cross-functional teams in sourcing initiatives,understands and applies milestone checks and steering teamconcepts.
  • Strives to create additional value toexceed customer expectations, provides diligence. Ensures agreeddeliverables are met, dealing openly with constraints andissues.
  • Collaborates with legal and othercompany departments and functional stakeholders to analyze risksand develop language to minimize exposure. Facilitate the localsupplier selection and negotiationprocess.
  • Ability to work in a team-orientedenvironment that is fast paced anddemanding.
  • Must be self-directed, haveexcellent initiative and organizationalskills.
  • Exhibits a strong ability to handlemultiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive, andenergy.
  • Works well under stress with theability to deliver on time.
  • Develops strongrelationships with business stakeholders and supply partners toimprove business.

This isa hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between bothremote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to workfrom the office 2-3 set days a week (determined byleadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office50% or more of the time based on businessneeds.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree required:Professional accreditation in sourcing, procurement or purchasingis a plus.
  • English and Spanish languagerequired, Portuguese language fluencydesired.
  • 7+ years of progressively responsibleexperience as a sourcing and/or procurement professional,preferably with a major financial institution or payment cardcompany or as Marketing specialist
  • 3+ years ofexperience managing spend categories, including developing andmanaging category plans and developing sourcingstrategies.
  • In-depth understanding of theMarketing supplier marketplace: deep industry and/or professionalrelationships with supplier in the categories aplus
  • Proven track record of successfullydeveloping and implementing strategic initiatives and programs,including but not limited to the execution of major, globalsourcing events (e.g. global RFP)
  • Excellentwritten, oral and presentation skills and an ability to synthesizeinformation and make clear, concise recommendations on course ofaction.
  • Knowledgeable about contract terms andconditions
  • Significant contract and agreementnegotiation experience, including development of negotiating plansand strategies.
  • In-depth understanding ofProcurement policies and procedures and their application to theprocessing of center transactions (e.g., processing purchaserequisitions, processing purchase orders, modifying purchaseorders, executing bidding for transactions, and executing RFPs, asrequired).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, andOutlook)
  • Self-Management and leadershipskills
  • Multi-tasking and time-managementskills, with the ability to prioritizetasks.
  • Highly organized and detailoriented
  • Excellent analytical and criticalthinking skills
