JOB PURPOSE:

The Senior Manager – Growth Strategy will be responsible for supporting the CEO, e& enterprise on strategy planning, advising on inorganic (M&A) and organic market expansion based on continuous study of the market landscape

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• M&A Support

  • Identify inorganic growth opportunities with M&A transactions (from scanning, sizing and identification of market opportunities, partner discussions, selection, Due diligence through acquisition)
  • Actively engage with the business and other internal teams on key strategic opportunities for inorganic growth & find path to delivery
  • Lead the M&A strategy defining process for e& enterprise and strategic fitment of an identified target
  • Oversee M&A project management processes including due diligence, financial planning, scoping, closing, and integration
  • Participate in legal discussions/negotiations alongside group functions regarding transaction-related contracts with in-house and external counsel
  • Plan and participate in post-closing integration efforts between e& enterprise and the acquired businesses
  • Monitor industry M&A developments and assess implications for e& enterprise
  • Advise on market expansion opportunities based on continuous study of the market landscape and leading collaborations with innovative scaleups and venture builders

• International expansion

  • Devise international Growth Strategics to identify expansion opportunities
  • Devise international Growth Strategics with Etisalat Opcos, to identify expansion and centralization opportunities for greater efficiency effectiveness
  • Assess market trends and competitors and help determine best markets to penetrate, target and grow in
  • Develop annual and quarterly business plans for growth and profitability (aligned with Line of Business (LoB) Heads and leadership targets) and evaluate these plans on a periodic basis.
  • Structure and deliver actionable analysis on a range of business problems including market sizing analysis, competitive landscape assessments, commercial strategy, and regulatory environment

• Transformation

  • Understanding and documenting the current business processes, identify improvement areas/opportunities to drive in operational efficiencies, and recommend efficiency opportunities
  • Contribute to the growth of Business Transformation by defining the strategic direction and driving collaborative initiatives with OpCos
  • To support integration of acquired companies and identifying areas of restructuring and consolidation
  • Support transformation exercises such as creating separate business lines, carveouts and process improvement initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Master's in Business Administration.
  • +10 years relevant work experience in a Strategy role, focused more on the B2B side with strong experience across M&A and corporate development
