Job Description

  • AdvancedParamedicsperformdutiesBresponsibilitiesofalllevels(Paramedics & -MTs)aswellas theyprovidetheadditional comprehensivepatient assessmentand Invasivecare thatis beyondthe scope of a paramedics& EMTs,inaccordancewith DCASPolicies,ProceduresandClinicalPracticeGuidelines.
  • Providingaddedvalueadvisoryservicestoclinicaldecisionmaking.EvaluateClinicaljudgmentsbasedontheanalysisoffactual information.Asistwithcontroloverresources,policyformulationandplanning.
  • ParticipatedinAnnualOperationalActionplanforOperationDepartment.
  • Workingwiththeseniormanagers,toassistindecisionmaking,suggestionandimplementingnewideas
  • Mentors, trains, and encouragesfellow new staff, Paramedicand advance paramedicas needed,to helpthem attaintheir fullpotential.
  • TakingcommandofincidentcommanderduringMCI(masscasualties'incident)tillfurtherhigherauthoritywillreachonscene.
  • DistributingthetaskduringtheMCIlikeextricationteam,triageteam,treatmentteam,andtransportteam.
  • Makeasignificantcontributiontotheadvancementofpre-hospitalresearchatDCAS.
  • Participateinresearchanddevelopmentactivitiesandindividualservicesimprovementprojectsandparticipatesincriticalincident.
  • reviewsforlearnandimprovepractice& quality.
  • Clinicallysupervisingambulancecliniciansatanumberofstations,checkinginwiththemregularlyanddealingwithanyissuesor problems.
  • Contributeinmonitoringandperformancemanagingclinicalperformanceindicators.
  • Providingleadershipandsupervisionforotherclinicalteammembersonfieldin absenceofadvanceclinician.
  • Deliveringclinicallearningupdatesandcontinuingprofessionaldevelopmenttoclinicalpractitioners.
  • implementing EMS Updates, putting new procedure into practice, conducting knowledge andskillsframeworkreviews,mentoring.
  • clinicalstaffandsharingknowledgewithteammembersincludingotherseniorparamedics.
  • Comply with the in formation security system, policies, processes and programs, and report to thedirectmanageranysecuritybreachesorsuspiciousincidents.

Qualifications

  • BachelorDegreeofAdvance Paramedic Scienceorequivalent.
  • Must holdcurrentlicenseasAdvancedParamediclevel6orequivalent.
  • Currentlicensetopracticeinhomecountry.
  • ALS(Advance life Support Courses)-(e.g. ACLS — PALS — Airwaymanagement—ECG BPharmacology—Hazmat).
  • Disaster and Crisis Management course. e Risk Management Course.
  • Valid UAE Driver's license and EVO (Emergency Vehicle Operator) license
  • Minimum 3years'experienceatAdvanced Paramedil Level
