COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER (KSA OR UAE BASED)

We are looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist to lead our communications and engagement strategy in MENA. You will own streamlining, executing, and analyzing all delivery driver communications for the region. This will include copy writing of website content, emails, in-app newsfeed announcements, push notifications and in station signage.
Responsibilities will also include analyzing the results of communications (open rate, downstream impact), utilizing this information to improve the app used by our drivers and the content associated.
A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, team oriented, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will love writing in all forms, be a brilliant storyteller and be a master at translating business requirements into clear written content.
This position can be located in Dubai, UAE or Riyadh, KSA

Key job responsibilities
• Write and execute delivery partner communications on a day-to-day basis
• Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate and drive business decisions in an ambiguous environment, including legal, PR, and operations partners.
• Monitor key communication metrics, define and implement initiatives to drive improvements.
• A program management-oriented mindset and the ability to be comfortable in different roles, sometimes supporting, sometimes leading and has the ability to “roll up their sleeves” and jump in if needed.
• Has immense bias for action and enjoys translating complex ideas into clear written content.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree and previous experience in managing communications across multiple stakeholders
• Experience in project management or copy-writing in retail, transportation, operations or a related field
• Demonstrable problem-solving, and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in a business environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic (native speaker) and English BA/BS in business, marketing, or related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in communications, journalism, PR, marketing, or related field · Demonstrated skill at building relationships
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous, deadline-oriented work environment
• Proven track record of complex and creative problem solving and the desire to create and build new processes
• Experience working with tools like Marketo, Adobe Analytics or Salesforce is a plus
