We are looking for a Network Engineer to one of our leading energy producers in UAE to work in their IT Transformation Department for an IT Project.

Location: Sharjah, UAE

Experience: 5-8 years in network engineering

As a Network Engineer with 5-8 years of experience, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure. This position is open to all nationalities, with a preference for UAE nationals. Responsibilities:

  1. Network Design and Implementation:
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable network architectures to support business requirements.
  • Ensure network infrastructure meets performance, security, and availability standards.
  1. Network Optimization:
  • Continuously assess and optimize network performance, addressing bottlenecks and enhancing efficiency.
  • Implement solutions to improve network reliability, speed, and capacity.
  1. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
  • Diagnose and resolve complex network issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide technical support for network-related incidents and collaborate with cross-functional teams for prompt resolution.
  1. Security Implementation:
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect the network infrastructure from potential threats.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices for network security.
  1. Collaboration with IT Teams:
  • Work closely with other IT teams to integrate network solutions with existing systems.
  • Collaborate on the implementation of network-related projects and initiatives.
  1. Documentation:
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures.
  • Generate reports on network performance and trends.
  1. Vendor Management:
  • Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and select network equipment and services.
  • Manage relationships with network service providers.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology).
  2. 5-8 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong understanding of network protocols, architecture, and security.
  3. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
  4. Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools.
  5. Experience in configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
  6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
