Job Description

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for implementing OCR automation solutions. Design, develop, and implement OCR automation solutions using relevant tools and technologies. Conduct feasibility studies and assess the suitability of OCR technologies for different use cases and applications. Analyze and preprocess input documents to optimize OCR accuracy and efficiency. Develop and train OCR models using machine learning algorithms and techniques. Configure and customize OCR software to meet specific project requirements. Integrate OCR solutions with existing systems, workflows, and databases. Perform testing and validation of OCR solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data scientists, and business analysts, to implement end-to-end OCR automation solutions. Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support for OCR systems and processes. Stay updated with the latest OCR technologies, tools, and best practices in the industry. Document technical specifications, configurations, and procedures related to OCR automation solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and evaluate the performance and effectiveness of OCR solutions and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Solid experience in automation engineering, with a focus on OCR technologies. Proficiency in OCR tools and technologies, such as Tesseract, ABBYY FineReader, Google Cloud Vision API, or similar. Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques for OCR, such as Convolutional neural networks (CNN) and recurrent neural networks (RNN). Experience in preprocessing techniques for optimizing OCR accuracy, including image enhancement, noise reduction, and layout analysis. Familiarity with OCR integration techniques, such as API integration or SDK (Software Development Kit) usage. Programming skills in languages such as Python for developing OCR automation solutions. Understanding of data extraction and data transformation techniques for extracting structured information from unstructured documents. Knowledge of OCR-related file formats, such as PDF, TIFF, and JPEG. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot OCR issues and optimize performance. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Oil & Gas or Supply chain exposure is necessary

SAP EAM /PM / MM knowledge to process attachment template is desirable
