Job DescriptionPosition Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer with 15+ years (UAE Experience) of proven experience to oversee and manage the construction of a project in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Resident Engineer will be the primary point of contact for all technical matters and will work closely with the contractor, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the construction project on a day-to-day basis, ensuring adherence to the project schedule, budget, and quality standards.Must have experience in Villas/ Townhouses community projects (Residential and Commercial).Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the project and liaise with the contractor, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with project requirements.Review and approve all project documentation, including plans, drawings, specifications, and submittals.Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure that the work is being carried out in accordance with the project plans, specifications, and quality standards.Manage the project team, including contractors, subcontractors, and consultants, and ensure that they are fulfilling their contractual obligations.Provide regular progress reports to the client and stakeholders, highlighting any issues or concerns that may impact the project schedule or budget.Work closely with the project manager to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.Strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.Proven track record of successful project delivery, including managing project budgets, schedules, and quality standards.Familiarity with local construction codes, regulations, and practices in Dubai.Ability to lead and manage a project team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Education: Civil EngineerExperience: 15+ yearsLanguage: English/ Arabic(preferred)
