The Account Director is responsible for planning coordinating and directing consumer promotion and retail programs for assigned accounts by performing the following duties personally or by coordinating with their account teamThe Account Director is seasoned enough to provide thought leadership and act as the face of the Agency to the seniorlevel marketing teams during conceptual development design execution and analysis of programsThey are also expected to focus on the financial health of the client organic business development and driving results that are aligned with client initiatives and goalsIn addition Account Director is expected to manage mentor and inspire growth within their account teamDemonstrate strategic planning for assigned accountsLeads planning and reporting process which includes preparation of client proposals annual consumer promotion and marketing plansUses consumer market data/information to inform develop evaluate adjust and redirect campaigns or programs as neededCoordinates activities with client services team in order to carry out approved program or campaign serves a financial relationship owner for client and agency teams to ensure programs and delivered within budget and time limitationsEffectively presents pitches and defends all agency work/proposal to clientsKeeps agency and team apprised of clients brands/products/services/marketing developmentsManages the recruiting hiring training and development of direct reportsQualificationsThe successful candidate must be teamoriented and possess excellent leadership problemsolving interpersonal and communication skillsThe candidate must be prepared for a fastpaced environment and be comfortable making decisionsHas excellent presentation skills and organizational skillsIs able to craft creative briefs and provide clear persuasive briefings to Creative teams and remain an active contributor throughout the creative development processHas a deep knowledge and experience with multichannel marketingHas a proven approach to crossfunctional crossagency and partnership collaborationHas a distinct understanding of strategic process and ability to drive innovationFamiliarity with ecommerce and online advertising is necessary within FMCG & CPG BrandsIs able to lead and grow multiple clientsAt least years of experience including largeagency interactive and clientside experienceExperience with paid search campaigns major online media and emerging media is required Disclaimer: Drjobs.ae
