Are you a Creative Director or Head of Design?We are looking for a talented Creative Director to lead the Design team responsible for Group’s print and digital assets. They should possess a natural creative flair and visual ability that can inspire, inform and problem-solve to execute a variety of projects at a fast pace. They must execute complex briefs across a range of mediums including print, video, multimedia and corporate brand collateral. They must be equally comfortable working alone or collaboratively with colleagues and be competent and confident in the conceptual process and selling ideas to stakeholders.Key responsibilities will include:
To lead the Design team and be responsible for all design collateral of the Group and its operating companiesResponsible for the design and layout of branded and visual communication materials, websites, videos and other marketing assetsOverall project management, prioritising and managing work coming in from multiple business units, and meeting project deadlines to ensure on-time completionOversight of operating companies to ensure they are executing branding and marketing projects per Groups instructionsWork proactively under own initiative and as part of the Design Team, owning and completing projects yourself, not just delegating and managingWorking closely with the Head of Branding, Director of Communications and WritersWorking within the constraints and guidelines of our branding guidelines and visual identity
RequirementsThe successful candidate will ideally possess the following traits:
Minimum 15 years of design experience, with experience leading creative teams; experience working in a design agency a strong plusProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)Knowledge of UI/UX DesignAbility to use AI-based tools to develop and execute briefsStrong experience executing photography and videography projectsManage internal publications and documents that require an editorial touchMeticulous attention to detailTake ownership in projects and consistently deliver a high standard of workCore design skills in layout, typography and visual communicationAble to work across both digital and printHunger to learn – act bravely and not stay in a comfort zoneAbility to work at speed, and multi-task with complex briefsProfessional appearancePositive attitude, be an “energizer”Good communication skills and be very well spokenAbility to manage relationship with C-suites and company leadership
