Thus, result-oriented.focus on delivering, not making excuses.respect the experience yet don't hesitate to challenge in full force.willing to unlearn.About the position:This is the perfect role for an engineer who wants to continue developing their programming skills and become experienced working in Google Cloud Platform.Data Engineers report to clients.We expect the candidate to have the qualifications of OneTeam.ResponsibilitiesDesigning data engineering infrastructures, pipelines, data lakes, cloud architectures for ML/Data applicationsLeading the delivery of data projects, and doing consultancy work with clientsQualificationsMinimum of 4 years of Python experience on real projectsHands-on experience with Google BigQueryExperience with at least one of SQL databases like MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, OracleExperience with NoSQL databases like Dynamodb, HBase, Cassandra, BigTable, or SpannerGood command of SQL or one of its dialects is a mustExperience in Google Cloud Platform and specifically BigQuery is a mustRelated tools such as Dataproc, Dataflow, BigQuery, EMR, Redshift, Athena, HDInsight, Databricks, etc. are niceExperience with Arrow and/or Dask is a big plusFamiliarity with the Linux shell environmentStrong CS fundamentals and familiarity with agile developmentUnderstanding the basics of distributed systemsAbility to write efficient, well-tested code by considering scalability and maintainabilityEnthusiasm about learning new technologiesAdvanced English language skillsHaving an analytical mind and enjoying working with dataPreferring teamwork instead of being a lone wolfExperience and willingness to work as a disciplined contractor$150 - $260 a day
