Responsibilities:
Responsible for executing technical projects in the Enterprise Data Lake and Finance function with multiple stakeholders, developing analysis to support process and project improvementsManages and coordinates technical projects through all phases of initiation, development and implementationWorks with clients to define and manage the scope, strategy, requirements and implementation of projectsEnsures that assigned projects are completed within budgets and schedules while meeting client business objectivesIdentifies, analyzes, mitigates, documents, and controls project risksProvides effective and regular communication within the project team, stakeholders, sponsors, and managementIdentifies resource needs for the project and establishes roles, expectations, and goals with team membersDrives the assessment, management, and mitigation of project risks that impede successful project deliveryReports on and manages project resource tracking and budgets for project areaUnderstands nature of impact and creates lessons learned for future deliveryStrong contributor able to enable others within immediate team
What you will need to succeed:
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Project ManagementHas expertise in managing both waterfall and agile project methodologies; PMP or CSM designation would be an assetFoundational knowledge of IT infrastructure and architectureAbility to communicate effectively in both technical and non-technical termsHas experience in collaborating and partnering with programmers, database admins, system engineers and architects, network engineers, vendor SMEs across a global, distributed environmentProven track record of managing and delivering large scale IT projects involving cross functional IT teams and business partnersProven track record of effective monitoring and reporting project updates, risks and escalationsExcellent oral and written communication; able to effectively articulate technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes to technical and non-technical audienceExcellent negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skillsDemonstrates skill, and strong interpersonal skills for the role across the projectUse knowledge of the discipline and the market to suggest alternate approach options to leadership based on current project obstacles and objectivesHigh standard of work within the project applying both skills and experienceConstantly learns from both success and failureGood organizational and problem-solving abilities that enable you to manage through creative abrasioExposure to Azure cloud or any other Cloud technologyKnowledge of corporate function processes and capabilitiesExpert knowledge of MS Project, Excel, MS Word and VisioStrong analytical skills, copes with complex situations using both skills and experience to lead to the right outcomeNA
