Senior Engineer – Technical Safety Jobs In Dubai UAE 2023 | WoodFor More Top Organization Jobs ClickWood is currently recruiting for a Senior Technical Safety Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry to join our team in Dubai, UAE.Responsibilities:
Participating in project HAZOP, HAZID, SIL studies, and other safety workshops when requiredProviding sound technical advice and solutions to a diversity of technical problems within the disciplinePreparation of Loss Prevention / Fire Protection / Fire & Gas Detection PhilosophiesAble to perform Physical Hazard Effects (PHE) modelling using PHAST (or similar) as requiredPermeance of Emergency Escape, Evacuation and Rescue StudiesFire Protection and Engineering Design experience including preparation of Fire Water PID’s Performance of Fire Water demand calculations, Performance of Fire Water Hydraulic modelling using PIPENET or similar, Performance of Passive Fire Protection studies and drawings, Preparation of Fire and Gas Detection layouts, Safety Equipment layouts, Safety SignagePreparation of Tender Bid Evaluations and assessment of bids for procured fire and safety equipment Participate in vendor meetingsProducing and reviewing specifications, data sheets, schedules, study reports, and design calculations; ensuring that they conform to engineering quality, competence, and project management systemsCo-ordinating with other disciplines during all stages of design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-upAttend client meetings and communicate issues with lead engineer as requiredInteract with team members in a positive and professional manner at all timesAdhere to and comply with relevant discipline specific procedures and provide feedback for continuous improvement
Requirements:
BSc, BEng or equivalent with extensive relevant experienceChartered Engineer or recognized equivalent experienceMust be willing to travel to IraqExperience of Concept / FEED / Detailed Design project phasesDemonstrable balance of industrial experience at a relevant level and positionMinimum of 5 years proven capability in a technical safety rolePrevious experience of site-based project work involving field engineering, construction, commissioning, operations, or maintenance would be an advantageExperience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferredPrevious experience of working in the Middle East and on Iraq based projects would be an advantage
