Responsibilities
Capable of handling multiple projects (such as FEED, Detailed engineering, Residual engineering and vendor engineering)Responsible for safe, technically accurate, and cost-effective HVAC system designs and deliverablesResponsible for compliance with applicable specifications and standards, and completion of work within project budget and scheduleSupervising and directing a HVAC Engineering Team, and directly performing tasks as required. These tasks include:
HVAC heat load calculationSystem and equipment selectionHVAC drawings, equipment layoutHVAC P&ID/Control diagramsHVAC Air flow diagramsHVAC specification, datasheet and MTO
Checking and approval of HVAC deliverablesEvaluate vendors technical bid offersReviewing with the Project Engineering Manager / Project Engineers all the needs and technical aspects which can affect the schedule of the projectUpdate Progress as per project schedule, provide input for monthly progress reportsReview requests for changes and if outside the scope of work, submit to Project Engineering Manager an estimate of man-hours, material, and any impact to scheduleCarry out man-hour estimations as part of the proposal and provide input to execution strategyObserving the ethic of confidentiality on technologies licensed by Clients or Third PartiesWorks within project team environmentCapable of handling MEP related scope within the in Oil & Gas projects assigned. These tasks include:
SpecificationsWater supply layoutDrainage layoutSchematic water supply and drainage diagramsMTO and vendor document review
Qualifications
Must have an engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or similarMinimum 15 years of experience in oil and gas industryProficient with MS Word and MS Excel & HAP (Hourly Analysis program) softwareKnowledge of 3D modeling for Equipment, duct works, and accessoriesFamiliarity with International Design Guidelines and Standards
