Job Title: BI EngineerJob Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BI Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end business intelligence solutions for our clients. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, architecting scalable data solutions, and delivering actionable insights through intuitive dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of BI technologies, data architecture principles, and a proven track record of driving successful BI initiatives.Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Manager – Data Analytics and Sr. BI Engineer to understand business objectives, requirements, and challenges.Design and architect scalable and robust BI solutions, including data models, ETL processes, and reporting dashboards in alignment with the Manager – Data Analytics.Perform data analysis and profiling to identify patterns, trends, and insights that drive business value.Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into the data warehouse.Design and optimize data models to support complex analytical queries and reporting requirements.Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using BI tools in Power BI.Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security by implementing appropriate data governance and quality standards.Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in BI and analytics.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.Experience: 5-7 years of experience in business intelligence, data architecture, or related roles and have worked with Oracle EBS as a source.Skills: Proven experience in designing and implementing end-to-end BI solutions, including data modeling, ETL, and reporting. Expertise in Power BI with a focus on dashboard development and data visualization. Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases and data warehousing concepts. Knowledge of ETL tools and processes. Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements.Additional skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.Certifications: Relevant certifications in BI and data analytics (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Certified Azure Data Engineer etc).Must have Skill sets: Azure Data Platforms, Oracle Database, Microsoft Power BI, QlikView, Data warehousing, Data Modeling
