Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager Forensic & Integrity Services UAE


Whether facing acts of fraud or misconduct government investigations regulatory enquiries major litigation or transactional disputes clients turn to EY Forensic & Integrity Services for assistance. This practice provides proactive and responsive services to address organizations risks related to fraud bribery money laundering and other economic crimes. Our primary practice areas include Investigations Dispute Services Integrity & Compliance Transaction Forensics Discovery & Analytics Services Privacy & Cyber Response and Incident Response & Resilience.


Our team is a multidisciplinary group of professionals (i.e. forensic accountants fraud examiners data analysts forensic technology and compliance professionals) which investigate complex issues address operational challenges and develops business solutions to prevent or combat fraud bribery and .


The business focuses on G360 clients in highly regulated industry sectors including Oil & Gas Power & Utilities Financial Services Life Sciences Telecommunications and Construction & Infrastructure.


The opportunity
A position has arisen for a Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager to join the business supporting MENA wide projects. This is an ideal opportunity to develop your career in the consulting space to work on a diverse portfolio of projects gaining exposure to a fastpaced market with evolving challenges and opportunities.


Key responsibilities


As a Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager you will be participate in:


  • Investigations including conducting interviews technologyassisted document reviews data analysis and preparing reports
  • Development and implementation of guidelines and codes as well as antifraud and compliance communication strategies
  • Risk assessments (Fraud ABAC Compliance)
  • Design and implementation of compliance and antifraud management systems
  • Thirdparty due diligence and integrity checks


You will also participate and assist in preparing for meetings with client teams assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties; and develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.
Alongside you will build strong internal relationships across EY business and service lines as well as contribute to people initiatives including recruiting and retaining professionals. Maintaining an educational program to continually develop personal skills is an expectation of EY employees as is the ability to understand and follow workplace policies and procedures.


To qualify for the role you must have:


  • A bachelors or masters degree in business administration accounting finance corporate law or in other relevant fields
  • Relevant industry certifications: CFE CAMS CFCS CCEPI
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years relevant experience in forensics or audit domain
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English any additional language would be a plus.
  • Good IT knowledge in Excel Word PowerPoint


Ideally you will also have


  • Track record with a leading consulting firm in the MENA region
  • Experience in Energy sector (mainly Oil & Gas Power & Utilities)
