Public Relations and Marketing Communication Specialist

Support the development and execution of multi-channel public relations and marketing communications plans for the WAA region.Follow the regional annual plan and corporate guidelines to translate/create compelling and informative content for social media channels, including posts, articles, graphics, videos, and other multimedia formats tailored to different target audiences in Arabic and English.Execute public relations efforts, including managing media inquiries, coordinating interviews, and supporting the development of the WAA thought leadership program.Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and journalists to secure earned media coverage.Evaluate and collaborate with influencers to amplify brand messages and reach target audiences.Support with translating global marketing assets like brochures, videos, and presentations into Arabic.Collaborate with country MarCom specialists to localize content and engage audiences.Track marketing campaigns and report results versus plan to ensure effective returns on marketing investments.Support WAA internal communications, including internal forums, discussion groups, a regional newsletter to boost efficient internal communications and foster regional collaboration.Support the development of digital marketing assets, including Website, social media, and PR trends, tools, and applications, and provide recommendations to optimize digital efforts and stay ahead of industry best practices.Support the design and delivery of regional marketing activities such as exhibitions, seminars, and promotions and evaluate marketing activities' effectiveness.Coordinate marketing materials/collateral production, working closely with internal stakeholders within the company and partners and with external agencies and vendors.Support corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability initiatives in the WAA region.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in marketing, mass communication, journalism, advertising, or equivalent.Fluent in Arabic and English for effective content creation and validation with local media and stakeholders.
Competencies (in order of importance):
Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence.Middle East market experience is a must.Excellent public speaking and content development skills in Arabic and English.More than 6 years of working experience in marketing communications and PR, more than 4 years of working experience in Middle Eastern countries.Excellent presentation and communication skills, Digital marketing and analytics experience, Preferably experience in a B2B business model.Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal and external partners in a matrix cross-functional organization.Efficient multi-tasking, Creative mindset. Quick and sensitive to social trends and hot topics, able to capture the moments of creative marketing ideas under branding guidelines.Mastery of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong presentations, communication, and negotiation skills; creative mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.French Speaking is an added advantage for this role.Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

Internal: Regional Marcom & PR Manager (Reporting Line), Strategy & Marketing Director, Regional Directors, and sales teams, Country and Regional marketing teams, Finance, legal, Supply Chain & Operations Manager, Other teams on a case-by-case basis.External: Media outlets, influencers, marketing suppliers, Authorities, end-users and regulators, green building councils, Different categories of customers and prospects, Other external as needed.
Working Conditions:
This is a WAA regional full-time position, based in Dubai and subject to the labor regulations of the UAE. The role may require regional travel for client meetings, industry events, or market research. Interaction with various stakeholders, from engineers to senior executives, is expected. Occasional extended hours might be required, especially during product launches or critical project phases.
