Azure DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a talented Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a key role in implementing and maintaining our Azure DevOps infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and infrastructure as code. As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to streamline our software delivery process, improve system reliability, and enhance overall productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) of software applications.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, PowerShell, and Terraform.
  • Configure and manage Azure services, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure Virtual Machines.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize code deployment workflows, troubleshoot build failures, and implement best practices for code versioning and branching strategies.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively identify and address performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage Azure DevOps user accounts, permissions, security policies, and access controls in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Implement and enforce infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to ensure consistency, repeatability, and scalability of infrastructure deployments.
  • Collaborate with security teams to implement security controls, vulnerability assessments, and compliance audits within the Azure DevOps environment.
  • Provide technical guidance, support, and training to development teams on Azure DevOps tools, processes, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on Azure cloud services.
  • Strong proficiency in Azure DevOps tools and services, including Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, Azure Boards, and Azure Artifacts.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, PowerShell, Terraform, or Ansible.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD principles, practices, and tools, including Git, Jenkins, TeamCity, or CircleCI.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure services and capabilities, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Service, and Azure Storage.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 per month
