Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled Veneer Woodwork Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with veneer wood materials and a passion for craftsmanship. As a Veneer Woodwork Specialist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality veneer wood products, ensuring precision and attention to detail in every project. You will collaborate closely with designers, architects, and other team members to deliver exceptional woodwork solutions that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations.Key Responsibilities:
Veneer Woodwork Production: Utilize your expertise in veneer woodwork techniques to produce a wide range of products such as veneer panels, furniture, cabinets, and architectural elements.Material Selection and Preparation: Select appropriate veneer wood materials based on project requirements and specifications. Prepare veneer sheets, ensuring they are properly flattened, trimmed, and matched for consistency and aesthetic appeal.Precision Cutting and Joinery: Employ precision cutting and joinery techniques to fabricate veneer wood components with tight tolerances and seamless joints. Use specialized tools and equipment to achieve desired shapes, angles, and profiles.Finishing and Surface Treatment: Apply various finishing techniques to enhance the natural beauty of veneer wood surfaces. Utilize stains, lacquers, oils, and other finishes to achieve desired color, texture, and sheen levels.Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of finished veneer wood products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Identify and address any defects or imperfections, striving for perfection in every detail.Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with designers, architects, project managers, and other team members to understand project requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure seamless project execution. Communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations to stakeholders as needed.Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards governing woodwork processes and materials.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Veneer Woodwork Specialist or similar role, with a demonstrated portfolio of successful projects.Proficiency in veneer woodwork techniques, including veneer selection, cutting, joining, and finishing.Strong knowledge of woodworking tools, equipment, and machinery, with the ability to operate them safely and effectively.Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.Creativity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements.Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to woodworking practices.Certification or training in woodworking, carpentry, or related fields is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:
