MEP Engineer- Job Description
Should be highly efficient and independent to procure materials, arrange manpower and other necessary requirements to execute project in-house.Coordinate with contractors and suppliers during procurement and installation of MEP and HVAC Equipment.Conduct regular on-site visits, inspections and supervision with suppliers and sub-contractors for execution.Undertaking off site inspections of MEP equipment and materials to ensure compliance with regulations and project suitability.Prepare, Verify, review and submit MEP Drawings wherever necessary.Prepare cost estimates for electrical, plumbing, Air conditioning, Heating and ventilation systems.Prepare, verify and submit technical reports on regular basis.Stay up-to-date on the latest industry codes, standards and suitable design practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's / Master's degree in Mechanical engineering or any related field.5-8 years of experience working as MEP engineer in UAE, focusing on HVAC, Electrical and plumbing system.Proven Advanced knowledge in technical , procurement (materials and labors) and execution.Well versed with HVAC, Electrical and plumbing materials, suppliers and its availability.Should be capable enough to lead and manage the execution team independently on his own.Knowledge in design software ( AutoCAD, Revit etc.)Strong knowledge of UAE building codes and regulations.Ability to work independently and as a part of execution team with utmost responsibility.
