Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Academic Data Analyst to join our team. The Academic Data Analyst will play a critical role in leveraging data to drive informed decisionmaking improve academic outcomes and enhance the overall educational experience for our students. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a British school environment and possess strong analytical skills attention to detail and a passion for education. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with academic leadership and faculty to identify key metrics and performance indicators to track student academic progress and achievement. Design develop and maintain comprehensive databases and data systems to collect organize and analyze academic data effectively. Conduct indepth data analysis to identify trends patterns and insights related to student performance attendance behavior and other relevant metrics. Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate academic data findings and insights to school leadership faculty and other stakeholders. Provide support and guidance to faculty and staff on interpreting and utilizing academic data to inform instructional strategies intervention initiatives and student support services. Collaborate with IT professionals to ensure data integrity security and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices. Stay informed about emerging trends technologies and best practices in academic data analysis and educational research.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education Statistics Computer Science Information Systems or related field. Master's degree preferred. Proven experience as a data analyst preferably in an educational setting with a strong understanding of academic data systems and processes. Experience working in a British school is required. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Microsoft Excel SQL Tableau or similar platforms. Excellent analytical problemsolving and critical thinking skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences. Ability to work independently manage multiple tasks and deadlines and adapt to changing priorities in a fastpaced environment. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive data with integrity and professionalism.
