We are looking for a meticulous Quantity Surveyor to manage all aspects of cost management and quantity surveying for our projects. The Quantity Surveyor will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are delivered within budget and to the highest standards of quality.Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects.Evaluate and analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine quantities of materials, labor, and equipment required.Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs while maintaining quality and performance standards.Procure subcontractor and supplier quotations and negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase and prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for project stakeholders.Assess and approve variations and change orders, ensuring that all changes are properly documented and communicated to relevant parties.Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve cost-related issues and mitigate risks.Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements related to construction costs and procurement practices.
Quantity Surveyor Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on construction projects, preferably in (specific sector or industry).Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools, as well as MS Office applications.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost management techniques.Professional certification or membership in a relevant professional organization (e.g., RICS, AACE) is desirable but not essential.Minimum 2 years of uae experience3 years of experience in same fieldMulti language capacity needed, especially English and Hindi, Arabic is an advantage.Salary will be discussed with you in an interview with your qualification and experience.Job Type: Full-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
