Senior Consultant @ Capitex | Financial Crime Recruitment SpecialistsJob Title: Senior Consultant - KYC and AML ComplianceLocation: DIFC, Dubai, UAEEmployment Type: Full-timeOverview: Our client is a consulting firm seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join their dynamic team in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). The successful candidate will be an integral part of our financial crime our clients' compliance division, specializing in Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) across both first-line and second-line operations.Responsibilities:Conduct thorough KYC and AML reviews for a variety of clients across multiple sectors, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.Perform detailed gap analyses to identify deficiencies in current KYC and AML processes and develop strategies for optimization.Provide advisory services to clients, helping them enhance their financial crime prevention frameworks.Liaise regularly with new and existing clients, maintaining strong professional relationships and ensuring client satisfaction with services provided.Collaborate with other team members to design and implement best practices for compliance procedures.Stay abreast of regulatory changes and trends in the financial crime and compliance landscape to ensure advice and practices are current.Prepare and present reports to stakeholders and senior management regarding client risks, compliance, and operational issues.Requirements:Proven track record with at least 5 years of experience in KYC and AML operations within consulting firms.Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, CFE) preferred.Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to conduct detailed compliance and risk assessments.Excellent client-facing and interpersonal skills, with a capability to manage complex client relationships and expectations.Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail.Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in a consultancy or project management environment.Must be willing to relocate to Dubai; visa sponsorship and relocation benefits will be provided.Competitive salary packageVisa sponsorship and comprehensive relocation assistanceHealth insurance and other expatriate benefitsOpportunities for professional growth and advancement within a globally recognized firmApplication Process: Qualified candidates from the UK are encouraged to submit their resume along with a cover letter detailing their specific experience and qualifications related to KYC and AML compliance consulting.
