The Director of CLSSELP reports directly to the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and is responsible for:Supervision of Peer Tutoring and Teaching Assistant servicesCoordination of these academic support services with the operations of the Writing Center and the Math & Science CenterCoordination of the university’s first-year transition course, the study skills course, and other related developmental or early retention programmingPlanning and implementation of Faculty Professional Development, including programming focused on technology-enhanced teaching and learning, in coordination with the Provost and the Associate Provost for Academic AffairsCoordination of the university’s e-Learning courses and programsAs coordinator of the university’s first-year transition course and the study skills course, the Director of the CLSSELP teaches one or more sections of these one-credit courses each semester.
