Shipping Supervisor Jobs In Dubai UAE | Chalhoub GroupFor over six decades, Chalhoub Group has been a partner and creator of luxury experiences in the Middle East. The Group, in its endeavour to excel as a hybrid retailer, has reinforced its distribution and marketing services with a portfolio of eight owned brands and over 300 international brands in the luxury, beauty, fashion, and art de vivre categories. More recently, the Group expanded its expertise into new categories of luxury watches, jewellery, and eyewear.Responsibilities:
Oversee the team to undertake Imports and/or Export of shipments and to ensure maximum efficiency, quality and customer serviceWork closely and follow instructions from the head of Freight at the Group LevelEnsure services are executed in accordance to the processes, terms and timeframes defined by managementEnsure all state, customs and other applicable regulations are followed while fulfilling service requirementsEnsure all required documentations are obtained/processed to facilitate imports and/or exports of shipments.Ensure Business Units are accurately billed as per Logistics price list for the services providedEnsure Freight Forwarder invoices are accurate, as per agreed price listEnsure all shipments are insuredEnsure all claims are investigated and settledAttend operational meetings with Freight Forwarders, Customs, Customers or other stakeholdersAccurate reporting and analysis as per management requirements
Requirements:
5 years’ experience in Freight Forwarding or similar industries (Fashion and DG cargo experience is a plus)years’ experience or more in handling a team of shipping coordinators
