-Must have exposure and good relations with domestic Market – wheat, corn, barley, sorghum & millets and connects with key decision makers
-Additionally, trading in pulses knowledge preferred
-Origination strength – connect with local traders, brokers, farmers
-Marketing strength – have good customer knowledge – flours millers, cattle , poultry, starch processors, malt companies, distilleries -
-Have a commercial mindset; able to generate PNL and manage book
-Should have efficient risk management skills – ability to under risk management tools, apply hedges and be on top of risk management
-Sound understanding of contract management and execution skills
-Knowledge of imported Grains used in the market and their price parity with Indian Grains.
-Ability to analyze Indian Grains balance sheet and highlight sales business opportunities
-Ability to formulate marketing strategy to achieve sales in the region/India.
-Ensure performance of contracts and flag any concerns arising out of adverse market moves
-Train other marketing staff in office from succession planning standpoint
-Managing and expanding relationships in the value chain across the country
-Able to work with targets with an attitude to surpass them.
-Daily & Weekly Cash Flow management & Reporting.
