About the jobApplicants must be based in the UAE. Priority for applicants who can join immediately.Job Purpose:Manage and supervise daily activities of the direct delivery technical team and service providers to ensure service delivery meets the Company's contractual requirements.Qualification:Diploma or Training Certificate in Vehicle service and automotive repairs. Minimum 5 years experience in maintaining vehicles and the team, with 2 years in a supervisory role.Roles, Responsibilities, Duties:
Manage and supervise the daily activities of the Fleet team.Ensure optimal usage of Vehicles, manpower, and resources.Oversee and carry out maintenance and repair of all vehicles.Respond to all reactive maintenance within the specified service level agreements and operational policies.Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks are carried out in accordance with the schedule, frequency, and task lists and provide reports on any works required thereafter.Prepare and update Fleet PPM inspection checklists.Respond in a prompt and efficient manner to all reactive issues and help desk requests.Carry out site inspections to identify corrective maintenance requirements and monitor the benchmark of work and schedule.Coordinate with other teams and client representatives to ensure satisfactory completion of works.Carry out routine inspections for the jobs accomplished by specialist equipment service providers.Ensure that both the quality and the quantity of the jobs are in line with Service Level Agreements/KPIs.Promote a safe work environment and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.Respond to emergencies during and after hours to resolve the emergency requirements.Conduct toolbox talks and on-site job training for technicians.Identify spare parts and consumables requirements and prepare material requisitions for procurement.Ensure all Company's HSE policies and procedures are followed at all times.Carry out statutory and hand tools inspections.Carry out predictive maintenance such as vibration analysis and vehicle automated system and prepare reports.Provide accurate inputs to management to prepare monthly reports.Attend all mandatory training and toolbox talks necessary to carry out work properly and safely.Motivate, develop, and direct the fleet team as they work.Ensure uniform and grooming standards are maintained at all times.Perform and carry out other duties as instructed/directed by the Management
Experience and Skills:Competencies:Adaptability/Flexibility, Communication, Dependability, Initiative, Job Knowledge, Managing Performance, Problem Solving/Analysis, Team Leadership, Teamwork, Vision and ValuesOther Skills:Hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of Diesel Engines, Petrol/Diesel Vehicles, and Plant and equipment. Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the maintenance and repair of vehicles. Ability to read manuals, drawings, and task sheets and prepare inspection reports. Computer literacy. Proficiency in English and Hindi languages. Experience in performing maintenance activities in a public facility with complex equipment.Experience:4 years of experience in a relevant field
