JOB DESCRIPTIONWood has been awarded a major project with ADNOC and, we are looking to hire a Senior Project Interface Engineer to be based at our Abu Dhabi Engineering Center.RESPONSIBILITIESSenior Project Interface Engineer ensures good preparation and coordination of activities between technical and project interfaces including all project external stake holders ,sub-Contractors and third parties at the Interface Points within the battery limits of the project during the FEED stage. Ensure all interfaces are co-ordinated to perform sufficient preparations and assess all realistic problems and encourage the development solutions for interface activities such as tie-ins, pipeline routing, plot reservation, exchange of technical information etc to support smooth execution in EPC Phase .
Anticipation and understanding of site interface demarcations on documents such as P&IDs, Plot Plans and GAsWork with all technical and project interfaces
to ensure interface responsibilities are understood and potential problems identifiedReview of FEED documentation to assess consistency in the demarcation of interfacesBe a focal point for all interfaces with other internal and external project stakeholdersPrepare and conduct interface reviews with technical and project interfaces
in critical areasIssue regular interface management reports to PM and customer managementBe part of the day-to-day interfacing between the projects, project managers and engineering teamsPrepare Interface Requests and AgreementsUpdate and Maintain Interface RegistersDrive and co-ordinate Project Interface Meetings as requiredParticipate in key customer reviews and meetings as requiredParticipate in Project reviews
QUALIFICATIONSBachelor Degree in EngineeringMinimum of 10 years' experience in the oil and gas industry whilst ADNOC experience is desiredPrevious experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantagePersonality and drive to support the Project Manager to manage the team to achieve the overall Project objectives, with high professional competence and management skillsExposure to wide variety of project environmentsExposure to wide variety of design, engineering, project services, procurement and construction elementsABOUT USWood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
