Job Description
My client are a specialist maternity hospital in UAE.With the state-of-the-art facilities, nurturing and caring environment and highly experienced medical staff.My client are a totally committed healthcare facility providing leading-edge comprehensive care for women’s needs and facilitating a safe childbirth experience.Currently my client have a great opportunity for a Senior Charge Nurse/Unit Manager.Your job responsibilities will consist of the following:Takes a lead role in coordinating hospital services during their shift.Supports an environment that allows staff to acquire skills, identify and develop new ideas that ensures commitment to the organizational goals.Addresses the immediate legal and ethical dilemmas in a professional, collaborative manner and refers to the relevant person for action.Participates in the recruitment process when necessary.Takes a lead role in managing disasters, codes, and incidents as per the Organisation’s policy and procedures.Provides leadership in critical thinking, conflict management and problem solving.Provides leadership in support of evidence-based practice, quality initiatives and promotion of a healthy workplace environment.Maintains appropriate contact with the organisations nursing executive/administrator “on call” providing timely and accurate information.Monitors and evaluates appropriate utilisation of staff in collaboration with the nursing team.Responsible to ensure that bed allocation and staff skill mix is appropriate for patient condition Job Category Healthcare & Medical

Required:* Bachelor of Science degree in nursing or equivalent qualification of NLT3 years study duration from accredited program;* AND Valid/Current national license.* AND BLSDesired:Certificate of post graduate diploma in nursing or Healthcare ormanagement or administration field* International accreditation experience.Required:* NLT 6 years clinical experience in an appropriate &relevant healthcare settings post qualification and* NLT2 year in Senior Charge Nurse (S. C.N.) position, ORNLT 3 years in a Charge Nurse Position.
