Position: Electrical & Instrument Team Lead
Location: Dubai, UAE Educational Qualifications:Minimum BE or BS degree in Electrical or Instrument engineering or equivalentExperience Profile:10+ years minimum offshore experienceRelevant offshore / onshore experience of hydrocarbon processing, utilities plant and associated legislation.Knowledge of operating and maintaining a wide range of equipment in remote environments.Team management experience to run a multi-discipline team of Engineers.Experience in the use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)Working knowledge and experience in offshore oil & gas industry codes, specifications, and practices (HSE, API, NFPA, ISA, IEC etc.)Experience with E&I control system upgrades – particularly in a brownfield environment.Working experience at an engineering level with Control & Instrumentation systems including:Field instrumentation and devicesDCS Systems & NetworksPLC controls, safeguard systems, condition monitoring and control system interfacesCompressor / turbine controlsVibration monitoring systemSystems design &/or integrationAdvanced controlsPlant Information Management SystemCompetencies/Skills/Others:Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work well with people of different technical skills and culture.Medically and mentally fit to work in a remote offshore environment.Computer literate, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.If interested, kindly share your profile on over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining andManufacturingsectors worldwide.
