MissionThe Airport Planner’s mission is to produce and contribute to the preparation of the various Strategic Planning deliverables including but not limited to Masterplan, Layout Plans, Urban Planning, Traffic forecast and Financial related studies. He/she will be part of the Central Asia, Middle East and Eastern Africa Business Unit and actively participate to the worldwide Strategic Planning Team.2
Line and Staff RelationsThe Airport Planner is in direct hierarchical relationship with the Director of
Tendering and Consulting. As part of his/her mission, he/she may be in functional contact with:
The Project Director or ManagerThe Client or the delegated contracting authority,The various Practices and Departments,The Tendering Department,The Business Development Department,other stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical ExpertiseThe Airport Planner will be the subject specialist in the projects he/she will be involved in:
Ensure collection of the necessary dataCollect, analyze and understand clients objectivesDefine the possible planning strategies and methodologies for the projectLead an integrated airport planning approach with all parties involvedContribute in the preparation of technical materialParticipate in business trips and on-site missions to present and explain the proposed strategy and outcome to the clientPerform all or part of the various airport planning tasks:
Conduct market analysis / traffic forecast analysisConduct capacity analysis and define the programmatic requirements at master plan / building levelLead/coordinate with masterplan architect the development of airport layout plansSupport architects with the development of functional floor plans of different facilitiesLead/coordinate with airport various experts (e.g. environmental, security, BHS) to provide planning support to design studiesEnsure coordination of the studies with other internal and external experts involvedAssess investments costs for the proposed developmentProduce and compile the airport planning reports and presentationsEnsure compliance of the proposed planning options with standards and best practicesShare lessons learnt with other Business Units and benefit from theirs.To perform pax/aircraft/vehicle flow dynamic simulation (e.g CAST, ARCport, Airtop)To perform various environmental planning studies (e.g. noise contour studies)
Added value :
To perform detailed traffic forecast studiesTo perform financial analysis (assessment and modelling of CAPEX, OPEX and revenues)
Any other task given by the line manager within the field of his/her competence.
Team DevelopmentThe Airport Planner will contribute to the Strategic Planning Team at ADP Ingénierie global level by:
Developing / updating / innovating tools and methods of the Strategic Planning Resource GroupKeeping up to date with latest industry trends and ensure their dissemination within the teamParticipating in business proposals productionTransmitting his/her knowledge within the teamCapitalizing on his/her experienceHe / she must update his/her CV regularlyCapable of international mobilityAny other task given by the line manager within the field of his/her competence.

Profile Specifications – Minimum Requirements
Degree in Architecture/ Engineering with minimum 10 years of experience in Airport Planning, and strong references in Master Plan and other planning studies on small/medium/large airports.Good knowledge and understanding of ICAO/IATA regulations and recommendations, as well as other worldwide used standards.Full command of technical matters described aboveExperience on additional technical matters, such as the ones also described below:Comprehensive strategic airport marketing and air service development analyses
Comprehensive aircraft movements and traffic forecasting studies (i.e. annual, peak hour, flight schedules)Financial analysesFlow simulation (CAST, ARCPORT or equivalent)Environment studiesMust be familiar with Airport Planning Design and Development (completed courses of : Airport Planning and Design, Airport Security, Airport Sustainability and Environmental Management, Airport Safety and Certification, Airport Terminal Planning)
Strong analytical skills, Strategic oriented thinkingAbility to work autonomously and in a teamFull professional proficiency in English language.Leadership, curiosity and interest for various industry topics, Airport Industry knowledgeAirport operational experience/ Airlines experienceExcellent writing and presentation skills, with full command of the Microsoft Office packagePrevious experience with International Clients is mandatory.Internationally mobile
