Review ITB (Invitation To Bid) documents submitted in the proposals stage, issue inquiry requisitions, review techno-commercial vendor offers, prepare equipment, material and man-hour estimates, Cost estimate, List of deliverable, Logistic BOQ, Construction BOQ, Software requirement and Vendor representative requirement for constriction / Commissioning supervision.Participate in Proposal Cost review meeting with management.Facilitate and co-ordinate manpower recruitment process in consultation with HOD.Conduct regular technical interviews for potential new hires.Provide necessary guidance on planning of all engineering activities and manpower resourcesassociated with proposals/ projects under responsibility.Provide necessary support and guidance to Project Control, Construction and Commissioning.Participate in Contract Review process and provide required inputs to Lead Engineer.Interact with leads on issues connected with Quality, Productivity, Progress, Man-hours, Technicalintegrity, schedules, extra hours, additional cost, variation order, milestone dates, work share withother offices etc.Consults with Project Engineering Manager and overseeing Manager on main issues which mayaffect budget, schedule, resources, layout and equipment specifications.Ensure manpower resources of Electrical Engineers Team are adequate and are utilized efficiently.Establish performance criteria, agree performance objectives with the Team and develop competency of team membersLeads the activities in converting the project from concept to detailed engineering.Works within Project Budget requirements.Accountable for overall discipline related activities for the successful completion of project withinallotted schedule, manpower and costs and control Man-Hour over run and material over run
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.Minimum of 20 years of detail design engineering related experience preferably from a background in working for consultancy organisations or EPC for petrochemical or for the Oil and Gas Industry. Out of this at least five years shall be of managerial position.Possess good knowledge of relevant IEC, BS, IEEE, API etc. codes and standards. Shall possess ability to grasp other international standards and client specifications as demanded by work.
