Senior Manager - Airlines Supply & Alliances The GCC team manages the international charter of growing MMT in Gulf Region. The core objective of the team is to establish MMT as the leading OTA in the region by driving both top line growth and
bottom-line efficiency. Some of the key focus areas are providing the best selection for flights & hotels, offering competitive prices, launching innovative features, ensuring a delightful customer experience, and building affinity & loyalty with our customers.
About the Role:
You will be part of a whip smart team responsible for growing the GCC business.
As the GCC Airline Supply lead, your role is to facilitate revenue growth and profitability by optimizing flight inventory, developing close partnerships with airlines, identifying growth opportunities, strategizing effective promotional campaigns, and ensuring compliance with market regulations for the
airlines.
As the GCC Partnerships lead, your role is to forge and grow high impact partnerships in the market to support brand building, customer acquisition as well as driving loyalty & repeat transactions.
What will you be doing?
As the GCC Airline Supply lead you will: Lead & support the supply and contracting process for airline carriers and aggregators for the GCC platform. This includes managing negotiations, commissions, incentive deals, and ensuring timely payment recovery.Ensure that fares offered on our platforms remain competitive. Monitor market trends and analyse competitor pricing to make data-driven decisions.Identify new revenue opportunities from airlines through market analysis, assessing the competitive landscape, and evaluating campaign performances.Build market intelligence by gathering insights from airlines and aggregators. Apply best supply practices to optimize the availability and quality of flight inventory.Strategize to promote airlines effectively. Provide product feedback to airlines to help them better understand their customers' needs and enhance their business growth. As the GCC Partnership lead you will: Identify innovative areas of partnerships in the UAE market cutting across banks, networks, NBFCs, Fintech players, eCommerce firms as well as any other offline business to drive and support brand building, customer acquisition as well as to drive loyalty & repeat transactions.Ensure deeper engagement with all major banks in the market and ensure a regular calendar of cobranded campaigns.Own end-to-end relationship with the key partners and build trust & credibility with the senior stakeholders in the client’s organization and ensure MakeMyTrip is the primary partner of choice in online travel for all major players.Understand each partner’s/potential partners’ business model and design engagement models & commercials that drives value for MakeMyTrip, the partner and the end customer. Negotiate all therequired commercials and agreements with the partners.Work with cross-functional stakeholders across revenue, product, content, creative marketing, PR, legal and finance teams, for successful ideation and execution of campaigns and engagement. Qualification & Experience: Master’s degree in business administration, or a related field.8+ years of experience in the travel industry, with a focus on flights supply chain management, airline partnerships, or related roles. Experience in B2C product is preferred.In-depth understanding of the travel industry, particularly the flights ecosystem. Familiarity with flight distribution, airline contracts, and airline market dynamics is essential.Proven track record of forging and profitably growing partnerships and business relationships.
