Irrigation EngineerThe Vero Studio is expanding We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Irrigation Engineer, to round up our talented and dynamic team in Dubai. This is a role for an Irrigation Engineer looking to take a step further in their career and join a studio where individual input and an artistic approach to landscape design are highly encouraged.Your profile
Have a Degree in Civil, Agricultural, Horticulture or Landscape Engineering from an accredited university.Have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience of Irrigation design works in infrastructure projects.Have knowledge of Automatic Irrigation system, Irrigation Network, Pumping stations, Landscaping - hard scape and soft scape works is must.Have knowledge of generating Irrigation design strategies for design related and concept design submittals.Have computer literacy and excellent communication skills are a must.Are proficient in utilizing CAD and REVIT, BIM and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required.Have drawings submission experience with clients in UAE/ Saudi Arabia as per their standards/guidelines.Knowledge of water requirement for lawns, trees, shrubs, ground cover plants seasonal plants, etc. specifically to UAE/ Gulf region.Have leadership capabilities and able to handle work under pressure.
Responsibilities
Must possess the ability to generate technical packages, working drawings and related specifications.Design drawings for Irrigation (Networks Layouts, Profiles, and standard details).Develop efficient and cost-effective irrigation designs that meet standards and requirements.Meet with clients, engineers and building architects to discuss project objectives, budget, and other requirements.Prepare site plans, specifications, cost estimates and irrigation design strategies.Review drawings for readability, presentation, and adherence to standards, in accordance with company QA/QC process.Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines on drawing changes if required.Contribute to the effective functioning of the team by identifying with and contributing to the team’s objectives, communicating, and sharing knowledge.Supports & coordinates with other team members.Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
