Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data migration requirements from legacy systems to SAP.

Design and develop data migration solutions using LSMW, ensuring data integrity and accuracy during the migration process.

Create and maintain data migration plans, strategies, and timelines.

Analyze legacy system data structures and map them to the corresponding SAP data structures.

Develop and configure LSMW objects, such as batch input recording, direct input, BAPI (Business Application Programming Interface), and IDoc (Intermediate Document) interfaces.

Customize and enhance LSMW functionalities using ABAP programming, if required.

Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure data quality and compliance with SAP standards.

Collaborate with functional consultants and technical teams to identify and resolve data migration issues or inconsistencies.

Conduct testing and validation of data migration processes, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.

Document technical specifications, configurations, and procedures related to data migration processes.

Provide post-migration support and troubleshoot any data-related issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Strong experience as an SAP Developer, with a focus on data migration using LSMW.

Proficiency in SAP modules relevant to the migration process,SAP Plant Maintenance ,SAP Equipment Management

Expertise in Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW) tool and its functionalities.

Strong knowledge of ABAP programming and customization in the context of data migration.

Familiarity with SAP data structures and data objects, such as SAP tables, fields, and data elements.

Experience in data cleansing, transformation, and validation techniques.

Understanding of SAP data migration best practices and methodologies.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data migration issues.

Knowledge of SAP data governance and data quality management principles.

SAP certification in relevant modules, such as SAP ABAP, is a plus.
