Present at key events in the sector, such as Viva Technology, Talan regularly speaks about the challenges of these revolutionary technologies alongside major players in the sector and parliamentarians.Job DescriptionOnActuate is looking for a full-time, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Senior Finance Senior Consultant to work in partnership with our clients, advising on how Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) will help them meet their business objectives.In this role, you will work with our clients and collaborate with developers and project managers to define requirements, critically evaluate information, and develop requirements specifications in order to deliver a successful implementation. You will have the ability to weigh the trade-offs between usability and performance needs to ensure our clients are getting the best value. Your ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and follow up with clients will ensure continued success.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Collaborate with clients to determine functional business requirements and design documents for custom D365 requirementsParticipate in pre-sales activities and RFP responses as requestedDemonstrate D365 to prospects and customers including preparation and requirements gathering prior to presentationWork closely with software developers, project managers, and systems testers to translate business requirements into successful technical deliveriesTranslate functional business requirements into a D365 application configuration designConfigure and test D365 module configurations to ensure delivered solutions fully satisfy client’s functional requirementsIdentify business processes, roles within those processes, and develop workflow diagrams with multiple swim lanes using Microsoft Visio or other industry standard toolsIdentify business/project risk and mitigate or communicate, as necessaryTest and ensure the stability of the OnActuate public sector suite of solutionsProvide clear and articulate documentation for all phases of the D365 implementation lifecycleTrain clients on the use of D365 and any add-on software implemented by companyGuide and support clients with User Acceptance testing solutionsConduct peer reviews for D365 application configuration design and adherence to best practices, standards, procedures, and methodologiesProvide analysis and follow-up of Applications Support Service Desk items to ensure problems are resolved and bottlenecks reported to company managementMaintain productive and successful client relationships, continually exceeding customer expectationsMentor junior team membersQualifications7+ years of applicable experienceCertified in D365 Finance & Supply ChainWorking experience in the Finance, Supply Chain, and Trade and Logistics modulesExperience inpre-salesactivities, implementations, configurations, design, gap fit and other ERP rollout functionsEffective business analysis skills in understanding client needs and delivering appropriate solutionsAccounting/Finance certification is an assetMust have participated in 3+ end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP or D365 F&SC implementationsWorking experience of integrations with third party applicationsKnowledge of LCS and its tool to manage the D365F&Sc environments.Knowledge of Azure DevOps to maintain the version control and deployment of the package from one environment to anotherWorking knowledge of Incident Management, Change Management, and Release ManagementAble to understand ERP system tables enough to write simple to moderately complex SQL for performing database queries
